Subsidy
Public investment is essential to ensure homeownership opportunities remain affordable to those excluded by the private market. Removing homes from the speculative market and putting them into community control ensures generations of working families can attain stable, affordable housing.
Supply
We know we need abundant, diverse housing options in every neighborhood to meet our housing needs, create a more connected community, and reduce displacement pressures.
Stability
Our community is stronger when everyone has housing security. Policies must protect renters and homeowners from displacement pressures and unjust power imbalances.
ProHousing Missoula
We organize a coalition of unlikely allies who believe that housing is a human right, and who advocate for policy that supports housing for all.
